I married my wife in Ukraine six years ago, and it’s been the best decision of my life. Before that, I dated in the U.S. and Europe, and honestly, I was looking for something more grounded.
Ukrainian and Belarusian women were incredibly family-oriented, but also strong and opinionated. Latin American women, especially from Colombia and Mexico, seemed more passionate and expressive.
There’s no “best country,” though. The best woman is the one whose values match yours. I found mine in Kyiv—not because she was from there, but because she shared my beliefs about loyalty, partnership, and laughter.
If you travel just looking for a “country to marry from,” you’ll miss what really matters: finding someone who speaks the same emotional language.

Brazilian women are a mix of confidence and warmth that’s hard to describe. I met Ana through a travel app, not even a dating site. She was fun, bold, and didn’t pretend to be someone she wasn’t.
They value humor and openness—if you’re fake, they’ll feel it instantly.
Our relationship didn’t last long-distance, but she taught me more about self-love and joy than anyone before.
Brazilian women stand out because they live with heart—and expect you to do the same.
