hey everyone…just wanted to share how things went the first time i met a latin woman (from colombia) in person. we’d been talking online for a few weeks and i was pretty nervous when i landed in bogotá. walking into the cafe she chose i didn’t know what to expect. what hit me instantly: her smile. genuine, big, warmed the place. the way she greeted me—hug, quick kiss on the cheek—and the ease in her voice made me relax. we sat, talked about random things, i tried to pick up some spanish, she laughed kindly when i messed up. i left that day thinking “wow… this might be something special.”
