hey to all. i think the term “mail order bride” is super outdated and doesn’t really reflect what’s happening today. people are just looking for love, regardless of where they’re from. the stereotype tends to ignore the fact that these women are making their own choices, looking for someone who shares their values. it’s more of a modern matchmaking service now. there are always bad apples, but that’s true for any dating scene, not just international.
