hey guys,i think the whole “mail order bride” thing is kinda unfair. it really simplifies a lot of complex situations. people have been doing long-distance relationships for decades, and it’s just that nowadays, it’s easier to meet ppl internationally thanks to dating apps/websites. some ppl still use the term, but i feel like it’s becoming less common as the stigma fades. it’s just regular dating now, with a bit of a cultural twist.
