i saw some old stats online but dunno if they’re still real… is it still like russia and ukraine or has it changed now

When I was in Ukraine and Poland, I noticed that there were so many beautiful, educated women in their 20s and 30s who were still single—not because they couldn’t find someone, but because many men there leave the country for work. In contrast, in places like Japan and South Korea, women often stay single longer because of career focus and social pressure around marriage.
What really surprised me, though, was Latin America—countries like Colombia and Brazil have a lot of single women who are genuinely open to relationships, both local and international. I met some of the kindest and most family-oriented women there.
So “most single women” doesn’t always mean they’re lonely—it can mean they’re independent, waiting for the right match, or have higher standards. It’s fascinating how society shapes that.8
