hey everyone… just chiming in — i married a lovely mexican bride (from querétaro) about four years ago. our story… we met through a mutual friend during my work trip to mexico city. we kept things casual at first, lots of dinners, long walks, learning each other’s culture. the first year had its moments: her spanish‑slang would catch me off‑guard, i’d bring something american at family gatherings and she’d giggle. but she was patient, i tried hard. now we’re solid. i see the world differently. her family welcomed me as one of them, she leans into my quirks.
